Creative and Persuasive Writing Workshops

Hendre offers Creative/Persuasive Writing workshops for all Secondary School year levels. They have proven so successful that he now offers a free writing workshop with each storytelling booking.

This success is mainly built on Hendre’s understanding of story and the art of writing. His enthusiasm for writing  is infectious. Hendre’s firmly believes that all students love to write if they are given the right encouragement, environment and inspiration. This belief is born out by his ability to achieve a nearly 100% participation rate in his workshops. He believes they can write and will write and they do!

Hendre’s main aim in the Writing Workshop is to show students that each person’s life experiences is unique and therefore they have stories and insights that are worth writing and sharing. Once students truly believe this to be true they are immediately able to find ideas for stories/and persuasive pieces that are particular to their life experience. Hendre also has the ability to see the story/and human aspect potential of any situation and his curiosity means that he readily provides students with the prompts and focus they need to write.

Hendre never tires of reading their writing pieces and responds individually to each participant in his writing workshops.

NB A free writing workshop is available as part of a storytelling booking.  Additional workshops are available at additional cost upon request.
