Hendre holds a unique position as a storyteller as he creates and tells his own stories, that are not only gripping and entertaining but also give students an insight into his eventful life.

Hendre is also one of the few storytellers in Australia who has the ability to appeal to a very wide age range, he is as comfortable a teller with Yr 7s as he is with Yr9s-12. This coupled with his ability as a raconteur make his performances and workshops universally engaging.

It is obvious to any who has met Hendre that he has dedicated his life to storytelling and story, endeavouring to understanding its infinite variety, capability and immense effectiveness as an educational medium.
